On 4 July 2013, Ugandan police raided an apartment in Kampala rented by Sudanese nationals and arrested two members of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) on charges of illegal residency. Since that date, they have been detained at Bokoto Police Station, Kirra Road, and are currently facing deportation to Khartoum, Sudan.

Both individuals are wanted by the Sudanese government due to political activities and may face severe consequences if deported.
